Gratitude, Reckoning & Radical Leadership: Jews of Color on Thanksgiving and the Stories We Carry
Location: Zoom
Join us as we reflect on the complicated history of Thanksgiving, what it erases, and how it intersects with the lived experiences of Jews of Color. Through conversation, handouts on intersectional and empathetic leadership, and excerpts from Kosher Soul by Michael Twitty, we’ll explore how to honor gratitude while holding space for erased histories — and what it means to lead with courage and care in complex spaces.

Weaving Our Jewish Journeys
3-4:30pm
Location: Zoom
Unpack your Jewish story, honor your heritage, and connect with others through shared storytelling.
Our stories are both our living legacy and the legacy we pass on to future generations. Time and time again, we see from our Jewish traditions the infusion of one's unique, divinely given talents, history, and culture provides opportunities to strengthen the entire Jewish community. We will craft a storyboard to help us weave our multiple stories and heritages, creating and continuing our Jewish stories.

In a moment filled with complexity, grief, and transformation, how do we stay grounded and guided? In this reflective and interactive workshop, we will draw upon the deep wells of Torah, Jewish ritual, and the wisdom of our personal and collective ancestors to find clarity, strength, and direction. Participants will leave with renewed connection to Jewish tradition, personal resilience tools, and a deeper sense of how our past can illuminate the path forward.
